ATM Usage:

When using metal cards in ATMs or machines requiring full card insertion, exercise caution. The durability of metal cards may cause issues in some machines, potentially leading to card ejection problems. It is recommended to use metal cards only in machines where a part of the card remains exposed, facilitating easy retrieval if needed.

However, your original plastic card can still be utilized in ATMs lacking the EMV chip. The magnetic strip on your plastic card will be recognized by ATM machines. Therefore, for ATM transactions, your plastic card or smartphone are preferred options.

Contactless Convenience:

For swift and secure transactions, consider setting up your smartphone with contactless features like Apple Pay or Samsung Pay to access ATMs. If you require assistance with setup, your bank representative can guide you through the process.

In Case of a Stuck Card:

Should your metal card become stuck in a machine, do not panic. Simply visit your branch with proper identification, and they will assist in retrieving your card.

Functionality Assurance:

Rest assured, your new metal card functions everywhere your plastic card does. The only variation lies in the housing of the EMV chip, now in metal instead of plastic. Remember, the core of your card is the EMV chip, not the material surrounding it.

Tap and Pay Functionality:

Unfortunately, the tap and pay feature will not operate with metal cards. However, you can use your smartphone to enable tap and pay if desired. The tap and pay feature’s functionality depends on the location of antennas, which can vary between cards.
